realism it is not,she says she has diverse films but they seem to be the usual overly well hung men (no diversity in size)coupled with overly pretty women (usually white) zzzzzzzz.

Taormino's books made me a fan of hers and I love women taking an active role in their own porn. Unfortunately, there is nothing that separates this DVD from all the other porn out there. The acting is terrible and the sex shown has a lot of the uncomfortable positions and non-pleasurable acts--like pulling out of a woman's vagina and masturbating into her hair--that you'd never see in real life (unless someone has been watching too much porn). I like that the scenes were all written by the women starring in them, but they still weren't relatable, realistic, or erotic. Maybe most disappointing, the interviews with the writers were more like sound bites than conversations, and didn't give much insight into their interest in the subject.

I hope babeland never gets rid of this movie!!!

disclaimer:I do have a bdsm sex life. I loved this movie It was inspired, honest and hot as hell. It is so nice to know that porn stars are total freaky perverts. I think the last scene was amazing the chemistry between sasha and danny is steamy. and the fact that you can hear all the dirty kinky things they say to each other makes it feel extra real. maybe for the next one tristan should have a female squirter. everyone should watch this movie.

Tristan Taormino’s “Rough Sex” is an interesting DVD. There are 5 separate scenes as well as some safety advice on the topic of choking/breath play, which is an activity that is in several of the scenes featured on this disc. There’s also a section on safer sex practices, along with a blooper reel and previews for other Taormino projects. But these are just the extras. The meat of the DVD are 5 distinct scenes that are unique in my, admittedly, limited experience with porn. The scenes are designed by the women starring in them. They got to choose the parameters of the scene, their partners, everything. Taormino gave the women complete control over what was going to happen on film. I found the idea of the women having this level of control intriguing. Adrianna’s scene was a post-shower intruder rape scene. She chose Marco to be her partner. Her only limit was pussy slapping. We didn’t get to see the actual negotiation between Adrianna and Marco, but the intro section did cover a lot of the ground in what I’ve been taught is important for negotiating a scene. My favorite part of the scene was him using her hair as a leash while she’s giving him a blowjob. And Adrianna has an actual belly! Which, being a woman with a belly, is something I heartily approve! Satine’s fantasy was to be accosted in a secluded area by a handsome and dominant stranger. Boy, did she ever get that. This was one of my favorite scenes on the disc. The choking was very, very hot. Derrick’s hand went all the way around her throat. I had a hard time hearing what was said and it made the scene less enjoyable for me. Marie’s fantasy was to be caught cheating and forced into sex by her partner. The idea of rape play is one that I find intriguing, and this scene plays it out very well. I’d like to find a guy who could hold me up while fucking. That looked like fun… Sasha’s scene was a lot of fun. We actually got to watch her negotiate with Danny for what was acceptable. They switch control of the scene at least twice and it just added to the intensity of the whole thing. This scene was probably my favorite. Sasha and Danny have such awesome chemistry and work so well together.
