Healing Sex is a revolutionary film about recovering from sexual abuse and building a life of intimacy and passion. The film follows a diverse cast of women and men as they heal from experiences of past sexual abuse, while also presenting healing methods in an educational format. As the subjects begin to learn about and enjoy sex and intimacy, Staci Haines presents common exercises for battling such problems as disassociating during sex, setting boundaries, and expressing one's desires. Haines draws upon her extensive experience as a workshop leader, somatic practitioner, and author of the book Healing Sex (formerly Survivor's Guide to Sex) to present the educational portions of the films in an accessible way.

Great instructional guide to healing through sexual abuse, and an outline for the entire process. Staci Haines teaches a group of people exercises in practicing to have boundaries, learning how to say yes and no, how to make it past triggers, and she gives tips for helping mates be supportive of a partner during healing. She is sincere and humble. As a somatic practitioner, she focuses on healing through the body. In the video she works with multiple people working through different issues, and is keenly insightful as she works through them.
