I'd been using a battery operated vibe (the blueberry buzz-- v. good!) but I was looking for something a more reliable (in that I wouldn't have to keep recharging my eco-friendly batteries). The first time I used my wahl, it freaked me out too much to be... effective. Later in the week, however, my boyfriend and I were using it on each other as an actual massager. Naturally, he started to move southward and wowee! Once we managed to eroticize it, holy cow. I came so hard, I almost doubled over. I definitely recommend this vibe. It's a lot quieter than you'd think and the two settings are really nice (it lets you "up the ante", as it were). A very good deal for the money!

I've had my Wahl for 8 years, and it is still going STRONG. After I learned how to adjust to its strength, it has never failed to provide the most incredible orgasms each and every time. With it, I can draw out the pleasure or make the orgasm happen as quickly as necessary ;) If you can have patience in the beginning to find your "style" with the Wahl...because it is very very strong...I just know anyone would love it.

We bought this for the times when I have a frustratingly hard time coming. (and realized we can use it for other things, too) Meds and Perimenopause are a terrible combination for someone who used to have NO problem with orgasm! At first, my dh was a little weirded out by it. The Hitachi definitely scared him, he thought it was "too big" and although I explained it was not insertable, the long handle as well as what I have read about the noise turned us off of it. So we ordered the Wahl. At first we only used it for back massages etc, and DH says it's fun, but he prefers my hands. It will be good for times when either of us wants a massage and the other has fibromyalgia or arthritis pain. (Oh, c'mon we aren't that old. We've had rough lives and we're kind of achy, like most people our age. (40s.....)) I recently tried it solo and the first time it took a LONG time, probably because I was trying EVERY attachment and couldn't concentrate ("hmm, a suction cup, no the point, no the bullet, the wavey attachment thingy, no the nubby thing.") The second time I tried it alone it was FAST, which is what I am looking for. I also kept panties on, and used it through material, this thing is STRONG and I didn't want to get too numbed out. I may continue to use it this way. It has only two speeds ("WOW" and "Holy Fu**") but that's okay and it's fun to alternate, but you may get a little numbed out, like I did. The vibrations are so strong that it can effect your labia, and your anus when focused on the clit, which is good for me (in fact some women may decide to not put it directly ON the clit, because it is so strong. I think you could put this thing on your LEG and it would still stim your clit!!!!) so it works very well, especially if you like lots of different stimulation places at once. Simply moving the head back and forth can stimulate different parts with different intensities. It DOES get hot. I mean actual heat. The handle part heats up, due to the motor going so fast. It scared me a little bit, because after the first time I had to put it away right away (someone at the door, JEEZ) and I had OCD fears that the thing was going to start on fire while it sat in the box hot. But, it didn't. It was cooled off by the time I got to check it. It is also pretty quiet. We have children and I really did't want to hear "Mama, what's that noise?" if someone is awake, when we are into it. The high speed is much louder, but the more you push it into your body, the less noise it seems to make. My only fear is that this is SO strong that I might get kind of "addicted" to the strength, but we've learned to use our toys in a way so that we make sure we often have "skin only" sex as to not become dependent on them. We haven't used this yet for couple sex, but I think if I have one of those times where it just ISN'T happening for me, this would be a good toy to bring out. My dh is more comfortable with phallic shaped toys, so the Boss Lady is our favorite for Couple Play. But, in a pinch I may suggest this. If not, it's good for just me, and for back rubs etc. All around, a good toy. We are pretty happy with it. The price was great.
