This lube is made really really well! It is a hybrid meaning that it is part silicone and part water based. The texture is divine- silky smooth, long lasting, and completely compatible with natural body fluid! If you have sensitive skin, are looking for an organic lube, AND want something glycerine and paraben free, I highly reccomend this lube!! Try it. Do it.

Not for me, afterall

I tried this lube after talking with one of the girls at the Seattle store, and liked that it contains some organic ingredients, is glycerin free, and is thicker than what I've used in the past. However, I found it to lose it's slick pretty quickly, and the stickiness was the least tolerable of what I've known with other water-based lubes. I'm also pretty sensitive to certain products, and this happened to be one of them that burned a little.

Question on Silicone

I've never tried a silicone lube before; I love the O'My but I notice that as with other water-based lubes, it dries up and needs to be reapplied fairly often. I am not sure that I want to switch over to a totally silicone-based lube, but this one seems pretty good (and I love that it's organic!) What would you folks at Babeland say would be major differences between Silk and Pink (other than silicone content)? (I am trying to decide between the two) Thanks for your help! *********************************************************** Pink lube and all pure silicone based lubes are a thinner more oily consistency and are not compatible with any 100% silicone or silicone hybrid toys as the lube will cause the toy will melt as they try to chemically bond. The Sliquid Organics Silk seems to play well with all toys when product tested, probably because the silicone content is very minimal. The biggest difference between the two is the texture- the Sliquid Organics Silk feels more like a water based lube and is water soluble but is longer lasting; Pink lube is an oily consistency that won’t dry out at all and requires soap and water for clean up. Both contain skin conditioning vitamin E and Aloe. Hope that helps! - Babeland Staff
