Astro FINALLY with no glycerine!

We loved loved loved loved Astroglide regular formula. For intercourse, anal, toys, manual, solo play, anything. But, I started getting both urinary and vaginal infections and The Man started getting "itchy" (with rough spots, my guess would be a yeast infection) and I read (in the data which came with our first order from Babeland) that glycerin can cause such symptoms in some people. So, not being able to find anything fun in a non glycerin lube, we went back to KY jelly, which is fine, but kind of Clinical, in my opinion. Like going to the Gyn. Found out Astro makes a non-glycerin lube, bought some and we, well, we like it a lot. It's slippery-er (is that a word) than KY, but doesn't last as long as the regular Astroglide. But, it gets the job done, even if you have to re-apply. It doesn't taste weird, it doesn't smell weird (I'm an adult, I want sex to smell and taste like SEX, not like a strawberry or a vanilla brown sugar cookie, or a Halls Menthol coughdrop or anything else other than SEX.) It works, I wish it came in a GEL, as it is rather watery, that would probably require using ingredients which are more irritating. It also doesn't seem to stain sheet, clothing and is safe with all toys. That's a plus for most of us. It's nice to have the Astroglide back in the head board cubby. If you have a problem with glycerin (or have been getting vaginal or urinary tract infection and are using a glycerin lube) try the NON glycerin Astroglide. It's nice, and slippery and wet and most likely won't irritate.

good for strap ons

I have been using it on our strap on. We use a "double lube" routine. I lube my husband's rectum with K Y and coat the dildo with astroglide. He has not complained. I guess for anal play their could always be a better lube. If anyone knows a better anal lubrication method please do share it.

Pretty Good

I'd tried other kinds of lube before and they've always irritated me, so I decided to try Astroglide's paraben-free, glycerin-free formula. Talk about a staple on my nightstand. It doesn't irritate me, it's nice and slick and it doesn't dry sticky, plus once it's in place it promotes my own natural lubrication to start working! The only downside of course is a downside of all water-based lubes -- it evaporates rather quickly.

Quite Un-natural and synthetic

I have a hard time with glycol ingredients just as I do with glycerin, so while I do enjoy the fact it's glycerin free ... Still leaves me irritated. I have found other glycerin free lubricants that work much better for me like sliquid or hydrasmooth.
