Nice well made toy. I'm just getting into anal play, and my only problem with the small ripple is that I almost immediately wanted to go larger. The increasing size bulges are great and give a nice bead-like feel to this toy. I also noticed my man having a little difficulty starting the insertion with this one, and keeping it in so I wouldn't call it a plug. But it is a great place to start exploring.

I had always felt terrified to put anything near my ass, but then I discovered the Little Ripple. After hearing great things about this toy, I figured I'd have nothing to lose by just giving it a try. I thought it would be difficult or painful, but with a bit of Maximus lube, I couldn't believe how easy and pleasurable insertion was. This toy is how I discovered I actually enjoy anal stimulation and no longer considered it something to be feared or taboo. It starts out very small and tapers in before each "bead" enlarges, so it gives the sphincter plenty of time to adjust and relax before the next one. I've also found that for me personally, it works well as a plug, as it stays in when fully inserted. Great butt toy for anyone intimidated by anal play... I love this toy.

As someone newer to butt play, I wanted to try something that would offer the fullness of a plug but where you could still experiment with the opening and closing sensation of anal beads. Enter the small Ripple. The silicone is extremely smooth, rounded and soft, which adds to the comfort and appeal of easing this toy in or out. The first bead is also very small which makes it a great warm up. I know some people have commented on it sliding out because the part next to the base is too wide. For me, closing my thighs around it while lying on my back totally addressed this issue, which works great with masturbation but might not work as well with a partner. I snipped 2 small crescents off either side of the base to make it narrower, easier and more comfortable to hold it place and it has definitely had desirable results. This toy makes me want to try beads (flexi felix), some plugs and maybe the large ripple - it’s been a great starter toy for me and I still want to experiment with using it with an in and out motion. I’m also excited to experiment with using this toy with the Theo (thong-style) harness and the Share double dildo, since I already know that this toy is an awesome compliment to vaginal g-spotting. Definitely recommended!

Perfect First Plug

The small Ripple plug was my first anal toy, and it certainly is still one of my favorites. What's so great about it is that each of the "beads" are graduated sizes. I wasn't sure what I'd be comfortable with yet, but the toy gave me the option to stop (or go further!) if I wanted to, because of the different sized beads. It's also made of a soft silicone, which is incredibly easy to clean, but it also made insertion more comfy. I also really enjoy the feeling of my sphincter muscles opening and closing around the toy. It's a sensation that I hadn't felt before, but loved immediately. I do sort of wish the base was smaller so that I could wear it without it falling out. All is not lost though, since the wide base offers lots of room to apply a vibrator to! This is a fantastic toy, and if you're a beginner who's apprehensive about anal play, I'd say this is great to start with.
