This is the best sex ed book I have ever found. It just so happens to touch on a few other issues. It has helped so many of my friends in their relationships, fretting over their misconceptions and fears about sex, relationships and intimacy. Please have everyone you know read this. Wonderful and insightful even for those of us who have been around the block a few times.

A must-read if you have a SCI or other spinal disorder!

I have had a spinal disorder since birth, which has made it where I have to use a wheelchair. This book is EXCELLENT for anyone who uses a wheelchair due to paralysis. I read it in 2 days and learned so much from it. I especially liked the pictures of different positions, the interviews from real people with disabilities in each chapter, and the health information most doctors don't tell you regarding sex (like autonomic dysreflexia). This book is also great for anyone living in a nursing or group home regarding sexuality, or if you have full-time caretakers and how to talk to them about using a sex toy or positioning you for sex with a partner. The authors should be given a million dollars for such a wonderful book!

This book changed my life. That is no exaggeration. It is as applicable to someone with carpal tunnel syndrome / RSI or chronic pain conditions like fibromyalgia or back pain as it is to someone who has cerebral palsy or paraplegia. It gives lots of good ideas about positions, techniques, and toys to use... Its approach is about adapting sex toys and positions to provide the ultimate pleasure to people with various physical limitations. But more than anything, it really changed my way of thinking about my body, my abilities and disabilities, and sexuality. It left me feeling far more empowered about my sexual options. Its tone is very supportive, addressing the emotional and psychological barriers to healthy sexuality and encouraging exploration. I am so glad this book exists. I wish everyone I ever had sex with would have read this first. It should also be required reading for sex educators and sex toy salespeople!
