Very rarely does the subject of fellatio seem to be taken seriously. Most often, there's either ridiculous information like what is found in Cosmopolitan Magazine, or there are sports euphemisms and other stereotypes without much real information. Violet Blue doesn't lay down on the job or pussyfoot around, though. What you get in this book is valuable information and advice on pretty much everything having to do with fellatio, not just fellatio techniques.

Great resource, but a bit repetative

There is something for all experience levels in this book, so don't think that you know all there is to know about going down on a guy! It has a lot of great resources and is very easy to read. I was surprised at how long it was and I really enjoyed the "Knowing the Hard Facts" chapter. This is a perfect book for people who are new to giving blow jobs or just want to get a little creative with some new tricks and tips. It even has info for the more experienced folks, like the section with techniques on how to master deep throating for example. I also really loved the hot little short stories included throughout the chapters. Plus it’s also packed with health, safety and anatomy info, which is educational and great for reference. Smart & sexy, just as you would expect from the lovely Ms. Violet Blue.

Even though I've had lovers and boyfriends compliment me on my oral techniques, I still learned a lot from this book. Violet Blue talks about everything, from anatomy to hygiene, arousal, using your mouth and hands, deep throat, and anal penetration, which is something I'm experimenting with right now. I'm going to write Violet Blue a fan letter. This book rocks!
