Wherever you are on your sexual journey, Annie Sprinkle makes a wonderful companion. In her new book she's the same feisty sex radical those of us familiar with her work know and love, and she's got plenty of loving support for everyone, from ardent pleasure activists to those who just want to more zip in their sex life. Lots of sex advice books have good information, and this one does too, but it goes far beyond anatomical how-tos and novel positions to address the deeper issues that underlie so much of the sexual lack and disappointment that many folks feel. She's so vital and engaged and her energy is contagious- it's a terrific book that could inspire just about anyone.

Her new book invites the reader to experience a sexual makeover, a kind of plastic surgery with metaphysical tools from Louise Hay style sexual affirmations, breathing exercises (one example is "Ecstasy breathing and Energy Orgasm" which you can use for increasing orgasmic response or as a spiritual shamanic breathing journey), healing exercises including letter writing to mend the broken hearted, to just feeling happy and joyous because there is so much unhappiness and suffering in the world.
