I was disappointed that these nipple clamps hurt so much I couldn't use them. I don't have particularly big nipples for a woman, but I do tend to be somewhat sensitive. These are just WAAAY too tight and I had to "safeword" immediately when they were put on. I felt the pain in my nipples for a half-day after just those few seconds of use. The clamps are not adjustable. I figured out a solution to the problem, though. I wrapped twist-ties (the sturdy kind you get with electronics, not the kind you get with baggies) around the end of the nipple clamp that you squeeze down on, when the clamp was partially open. The twist tie prevents the clamp from closing all the way, but leaves enough "give" in the clamp that it can still close around my nipple. Because one of my nipples is slightly larger than the other, I adjusted the twist-tie a little looser on the side with the smaller nipple to allow the clamp to clamp down a bit more. It's perfect. Now the clamps stay on even when my partner slightly pulls or bites the chain, they look a little menacing, they pinch a bit, and yet they're not going to have the "recovery time" that they did with that first, brief try. The one drawback to this solution is that the clamps are aesthetically pleasing, and the twist ties threaten to ruin the effect. I used white twist-ties so they don't look so obvious against the silver, and folded the twist ties inside the clamp so that I don't remind my partner of a sandwich bag during sex. Might be good for some comic relief, but not the desired effect.

Everyone else has said it: INTENSE. My girlfriend put these on me one of the first times we hooked up, and they got me off faster than I ever have. It basically flipped a switch for me--I've been crazy orgasmic ever since. The girlfriend is definitely the main reason, but these clamps sure helped!
